The BBC recently took part in a showcase in China, the showcase attracted more than 100 Chinese TV stations looking to air British shows. The BBC showed over 500 hours of the best shows available, of course this included the brilliant
Zingzillas from
Cbeebies. Already a massive success in other parts of the world, it's expected that The
Zingzillas will be well received by the Chinese audience.
Earlier this year The
Zingzillas attracted approx 400,000 viewers for it's morning show, the last time any
children's programme got close to those figures was for The
Teletubbies. These figures will be of real interest to any potential Chinese buyers. It's been a big year for Zak and all the gang, no doubt the Christmas rush will be another positive moment, with the toys expected to be in the top sellers.
The Zingzillas has a musical theme running through the show, so as expected the first selection of musical toys are available to us ready for Christmas. The Big Zing Guitar is based on Tangs guitar from the show, bright coloured and perfect to rock out on. The guitar features three songs that you can play along with, as well as sounds and phrases from the show. The Zingzillas guitar encourages children to be creative with role play, but most of all it's great musical fun.
The Zingzillas Big Zing Play set gives children the opportunity to take control of the Big Zing concert. Set on the beach at Zingzilla Island, the play set features some fantastic sounds and lights to really make the atmosphere. The set comes with a Zak figure, but you can purchase the other main characters seperately.
